27.09.2004 - General order from VIA NET.WORKS

VIA NET.WORKS, Inc., Amsterdam/Netherlands, has placed the order for the realization of an integrated eCommerce-Shop-solution with PGK GmbH. The project has the objective to sell VIA's products as web-hosting or DSL automatically across the Internet. The system made by PGK will be integrated in the numerous European subsidiaries of VIA and in the USA.

"In our cooperation until today, PGK has contributed a significant part for the successful launch of VIA's products in Germany. We have a straight focus on Windows Shares Hosting and ASP.NET. Therefore PGK with it's key competence in .NET is the ideal partner for us in this project.", explains Fred Seibl, Senior Vice President VIA Express the motivation for the new ordering with PGK.
 
The complete eCommerce-solution with a seamless integration into the existing backend systems will be implemented on basis of QualiSite CMS 2004. The system will particularly support the specific requirements of each country for the shop. The latter will integrate itself seamlessly into the websites of each country. The country specific websites themselves will be edited with QualiSite as well. The start was already made with the complete migration of the German website of VIA.
