02.04.2004 - Qualisite with active directory integration

QualiSite, PGK's 100% .NET-based Content Management System from now on provides seamless active directory integration. This way the CMS fits perfectly in existing windows server infrastructures. The administrative effort can be reduced enormously by the centralized management of users and roles especially when using QualiSite as an intranet platform.

If desired, QualiSite is preconfigured for the use with active directory right after installation. The system automatically detects the active domain and scans for the associated domain controller. With a single click, the whole directory including all users and roles will be synchronized.

But the clue is the maintenance: new users will be automatically recognized and added according to their role memberships. Due to single sign on, a logon at backend and frontend is no longer necessary.

This add-on is from now on part of the QualiSite installation. Existing customers of QualiSite Global 2004 may add this feature for free. QualiSite will be improved continuously.
